Nepal has one of the largest sources of rivers, spreading from the east to the west Nepal. Nepal is also said to be the second richest in hydro-power. With its many rivers flowing down the mountains, rafting has become a popular sport in Nepal. Makalu Adventure runs rafting trips ranging from one day to seven days. Some of the most popular rivers for rafting in Nepal are Trishuli, Bhote-Koshi, Seti River which are for a duration from one day to three days. These rivers are ideal for people just to flow down the river and encounter a few rapids every now and then to keep the adrenaline going. For professional rafters we have the Sun Koshi River, Dudh Koshi River and the Kali Gandaki River. In these rivers the rapids ranges from 7 to 9 and are very technical.
