Everest Region
Paradise of Mountain Mysticism and home to a distinct point of the world "Everest" land of the Sherpas where even Guinness book of world records is having problem keeping up with the bounty of world records from the region. Everest region however remote it may be is, one of the most developed regions with tourism infrastructures and where the inflow of tourist is plenty. 
The most daring airport of Lukla is the gateway for trekking tourist into this superlative Himalayan valley. Everest region is also the region where the toughest endurance race "the world's highest marathon" is held. With its starting lineup at almost 17,000 ft at Gorek shep the famous point in between your trek through the Khumbu Glacier trail to the Everest Base Camp. Gorek Shep is also the point where you hike towards Kalapatthar vantage point to view Mt. Everest. The other half of Solu, the lower Solu with its airport at Phaplu has some interesting trekking trails of its own and dynamically boosts its presence with touristic wonders.
