Most of the trek is spent in the Khumbu and Imja
Valleys, above the altitude of 3,000 meters, where
the massive peaks of theEastern Himalayas dominate
the skyline. Beautiful, multi-hued prayer flags,
prayer wheels and intricately carved mani stones
line every hilltop, rock wall and trail side,
singing prayers for everyone's well-being.
"Annapurna" is at the center of one of the most amazing
mountain amphitheaters in the world. The deep valley
and high mountains encircling the giant Annapurna Range
mingle andblend into a multitude of local cultures,
traditions - beliefs from all directions. If there is
a word to describe the Annapurna, it's diversity.
Still somewhat restricted (special permits are required)
the trek to Lo Manthan (3730 m) refers to the arid Tibet-like
region.Annexed by Nepal in 17 century, but untouched
by the outside world or the Chinese Cultural revolution,
14th century monasteries still remain active to preserve
this magnificent Trans-Himalayan kingdom.
Combination of three beautiful treks taking us straight
into some of the wildest and most picturesque areas
of Nepal. Starting from the lovely hill town of Syabrubensi
our trek winds through beautiful rhododendron and conifer
forests through the Langtang National Park on the way
to higher slopes.
Kanchenjunga (8585 m.), the third highest mountain in the world, is the abode of gods who bestow prosperity and benevolence on them and their lands meaning "Five Great Treasuries Of The Snow", actually, has seven major summits and the avalanches that Kanchenjunga throws down are said to be the largest anywhere else in the world!
A long, difficult trek around Dhaulagiri (8167m) starts from Beni that follows the route towards Myagdi Khola west-wards turning north through lowland forests into the high country. Much of the route is on snow and glaciers as it crosses French Col pass (5240m). Then we traverse from the head of Hidden Valley, and crosses Dhampus Pass (5155m)...
