We had an absolutely wonderful trip to Nepal and Tibet. Mohan is
extremely kind, generous, knowledgeable and professional. I wish
that he had been able to accompany us on the journey but the fellows
he employed were a delight. Friendly, great cooks, always pleasant
also making sure we were as comfortable and safe as possible.
We met other foreigners in Tibet (from other agencies) who had mini
horror stories to tell of guides just deserting them at the
Nepali/Tibet border, or promising Landcruisers and then dumping them
on a bus or various complaints.
I wholeheartedly recommend Makalu Adventure and Mohan in particular.
He is a gem and very trustworthy. I also think you should take the
trip we just did. Fly into Simikot and hike to the Tibetan border.
Unfortunately you will encounter the Maoists and they will lighten
your wallet by over 100 US and you will feel slimed by them, but not
in danger. Then hike around sacred Mt Kailash and drive several days
to central Tibet. Explore there, there is tons to see. And go with
Makalu travel. It really is the trip of a life time.

The guides and staff are second to none and they have a wealth of
experience. Allow yourself plenty of time for this trip, if all goes
well it is one of the best treks in the Himalaya, perhaps the
world!"

Dear Mohan
Now that I am back in the UK again with only the pictures of Mustang
I wanted to thank you for the trek. Your company did very well by
us, I was impressed with your care and attention to detail and most
certainly with the value for money.
I shall be happy to recommend you to others and on my next trek in
Nepal will be calling on you myself.
Thank you again

Dear Mohan
Our introduction to Nepal was absolutely outstanding. Kathmandu
and area has so much history and many interesting things to see.
All arrangements for the trip were first class. It was a
pleasure to meet your family. Simon is a fine boy.
Thank you so much for all the gifts. The cheese was a special
treat. Mike has already had his first cheese feast.
Thank you again. We wish you continuing success with your
company and who knows we may return some day.
Dear Mohan and
Sandesh,
Namaste
I am indeed back home and hard at work again. Every evening I am
still going through more than a thousand photo's that I took on the
trip and I can still hardly believe what an amazing experience I
had. It was a dream come true! I must thank you all again for the
efficient way that the entire tour was organised and the excellent
service I received throughout my stay.
Thanks for making us feel so welcome in your country. I must also
commend you on your excellent crew. Puree and Pasa virtually saved
my trek as their great food immediately restored my appetite and
energy after a bout of food poisoning in Shigatse. I was repeatedly
impressed with their professionalism like always having serviettes
at meals and air freshener sprayed in the tents even in the most
remote locations! It was very impressive. Lukdha from the Tibet
agency was also a star and I could not have asked for a better
guide. I truly feel lucky that I found Makalu adventure for the
trip.
When I have sorted my photos I will, as promised, post a CD to you
with some of the better trek photos that you may have some use for.
You are also welcome to give my E-mail address to anybody wanting a
reference on Makalu Adventure.
Thanks again for a fabulous trip. I am sure I will visit Nepal again
in the future.
Best Wishes

Dear Mohan - Namaste,
Thank you very much again for the wonderfully organized trek. We
look forward to being in Nepal again and making another trek with
your company.
Please let me know if you ever need any references provided to your
potential customers -- they can write to me directly and I can tell
them about our experiences.
I will be in touch early next year -- most likely our next trip will
be in May 2008. We can talk about various options.
Thanks,
Alex

Dear Mohan,
Greetings from Germany,
please let me thank you again
for offering and organizing such a great trip. It was the greatest
bicycle trip of my lifetime, and I think there will be no possible
trip in the future that can be better.
Please send my best regards to
your whole team, which where amazingly helpful, especially our bike
guide Dil, who was a permanent source of help and fun. He always
could find something positive even in difficult situations. And not
to forget the cook and the kitchen boy as well as the drivers of the
truck and the jeep. They all were so great, I can't even think about
much what could have been better.
Many thanks and best regards
from Germany

Dear
Mohan,
Happy
Holidays to you and your staff too! I want to thank you again
for a wonderful trip. I have shared my photos and experiences
with many friends. They can't believe the quality of our trip
and care and attention given to the trekkers. Much has been on
TV about Everest Climbs so many are interested in what we
accomplished. I have friends who are also interested in a trip
to the Anapurna area. Do you have camping trips in that area?
Possible next October. Send any information you have. Thanks
again,
Pat
